A follow up from Stephen M. Gardiner's talk "Ethics and Climate Change"

At our request, Dr. Gardiner sent us a copy of his paper:

“Ethics and Climate Change: An Introduction”

Abstract: Climate ethics is an emerging field. This paper serves as a critical introductory overview. It focuses on five areas of discussion that are particularly relevant to substantive climate policy: the treatment of scientific uncertainty, responsibility for past emissions, the setting of mitigation targets, and the places of adaptation and geoengineering in the policy portfolio.
